WINE CASK FINISH PEATED SINGLE MALT CASK #148
Our Wine Cask Finish spent time in two carefully chosen barrels. This Peated Single Malt began its journey in first-fill bourbon casks made from charred American oak, building a bold and smoky foundation. From there, we hand-selected a single cask to finish in a local Pinot Noir barrel crafted from toasted French oak.
The result is a beautifully expressive whisky. Rich, smoky, and layered.
- Appearance: Red Amber
- Nose: Strawberry jam opens the nose, followed by campfire smoke, bright tangerine and cherries, grounded by vanilla and the freshness of sea air.
- Palate: Smoked fruit leads into toasted almonds and walnuts dusted with powdered sugar, before baking spices and lingering smoke take over.
- Finish: Structured tannins lead to a playful tartness like sour candies, followed by white pepper, cool mint, and a smoky peat that lingers long after the last sip
