When we had the chance to bottle Jamaican rum for an importer, we knew exactly what it meant, freshly emptied rum barrels ready for our whisky. We didn't waste a moment, filling those rum casks the very same day with whisky from our STR casks. What emerged is something special: a spirit that smells like rum but drinks like whisky, with a finish that stays with you long after the glass is empty.
- Appearance: Golden Honey
- Nose: Topical fruits like mango, toasted coconut, and caramelized plantains give way to layers of strawberry, honey, and melon all wrapped in fresh buttermilk biscuits.
- Palate: Bright strawberry candy hits first, leading into dried coconut and banana pudding. White pepper and warm allspice weave through, adding depth.
- Finish: Green papaya, spicy ginger, and root beer notes emerge and linger, creating a dynamic finish that keeps revealing new layers.
